From Greensboro, High Point, Charlotte
and other points South

  • Take 85 North/40 East to Exit 141 (Elon)
  • Turn left at stop light onto Huffman Mill Road
  • Stay in the right lane. (Markers include Cracker Barrel Restaurant on the right, McDonald’s, Super Kmart, Burlington Square Mall, Sears Auto Center all on the left).
  • Just past the Sears Auto Center, turn right at traffic light at the intersection of Huffman Mill Road and South Church Street (70 W)
  • Follow South Church Street (in the far-left lane) through the downtown area which becomes a one-way street.
  • Look for the Burlington Police Department on the right and the Burlington Fire Department Headquarters on the left. Go through 5 traffic lights, look for small shopping center on the left (stores include Max-Way, AutoZone, Family Dollar)
  • Immediately past shopping center turn left at light onto Ireland Street . Go up Ireland Street 2 blocks to stop sign.
  • Turn right onto Apple Street , you will see the church on the left. Go past the church, turn left onto the first street ( Richmond Avenue , then left onto Elizabeth Street , and left into the paved parking lot. Enter building through ECCO main entrance.

From Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill
and other points North

  • Take 40 West/85 South to Exit 150 ( Haw River )
  • Turn right at traffic light onto Jimmie Kerr Road
  • There will be two truck stops (one on your right and one on your left)
  • Follow Jimmie Kerr Road (maybe 5 miles) to traffic light
  • Turn left at the light onto Hwy 70 East
  • Hwy 70 East will turn into N. Church Street as you reach the Burlington City limits
  • Follow N. Church Street (in the far right lane) until it splits and becomes a one-way street.
  • After the road split, turn right onto Fulton Street
  • Follow Fulton Street to Apple Street (stop sign). Turn left onto Apple Street
  • Go 2 blocks, turn right onto Richmond Avenue, left onto Elizabeth Street , and left into the church parking lot.
