Ms. Brittany Burnette
May 2010
Today I am honored to
announce one of our youth: Ms. Brittany Burnette as our May member of the
month. I well remember little Ms. Brittany coming to church with her
grandmother Ms. Lena Burnette as a little girl. As she grew she became
active as a youth usher and for awhile a member of a youth choir (Voices of
Hope) and an active member of our youth church.
Brittany is now quite a
young lady getting ready to graduate from high school and pursue a college
degree. She is part of the dance team at Western High School and they
recently held a fund raiser to raise money and awareness for domestic
violence.
Brittney is also part of
the Alpha Class of Elon Scholars . She is one of 22 students in this
inaugural class; nearly all of them, including her, have been accepted into
a four year college. I’m sure that you will join me in honoring Ms.
Burnette for being a high achiever and for representing herself very well
in the academic environment. Congratulations Brittany you are our May 2010
Member of the Month!
