Ms. Pearl Lee

Today I am proud to present for member of the
month a very special lady: Ms. Pearl Lee as our May member of the month. She
is known by some as Pearl, by others as Ms. Pearl, others know her as Ms.
Lee and still others know her as "Grandma."
Sister Lee is a veteran educator, a student
advocate, a fearless worker and a committed Christian.
She is active in our power breakfast morning workshop
and deeply involved in our Senior Adult Ministry. Sister Lee is also an
active part of our 8:00 AM Worship experience and our Sanctuary Sunday
School class. Sister Lee is most known for her beautiful voice and for
directing our Senior Choir. What a blessing she is! Though she is no longer
singing with the choir or directing, I'm sure that those who are blessed to
sit near her are blessed by her melodious voice.
Sister Pearl Lee has assisted me in strating
our after-school program here at Ebenezer and she also has and continues to
offer GED assistance to anyone that deserves it. She is a selfless,
sacrificial servant whose life is lived for others. We thank God for her
giving and supporting spirit. She is blessed to have her daughter: Bettina
Phillips and her two grandchildren: Charles and Anita Phillips here at
Ebenezer with her in membership.
Congratulations to M. Pearl "Grandma," you
are our May 2009 Member of the month and Happy Birthday! |
