Ms. Cheryl Troxler
March 2009

God has a unique way of bringing triumph out
of tragedy and with His special creation called "time" He can bring a
morning after a long season of weeping. Last Saturday (2-22-09) a nice size
crowd gathered in the ECCO building for a celebration of life in honor of
Allante Murray, the day after his 18th birthday. We witnessed a strong
family, though shattered by the untimely death of a handsome son and
brother, courageously lead us in a service of song, remembrance and a call
for justice. I was particularly blessed and deeply moved by a grieving but
courageous mother who stood to share her journey on the road to healing.
Cheryl admits that she has not arrived at complete healing, but God has
brought her from a long way. I applauded her transparency, her testimony as
well as her faithfulness. Today I am honored to share with you her remarks
made at the celebration of life service and to announce that she is our
March Member of the Month.
Cheryl is the mother of two daughters: Chloe
and Tosca and she is a long time member of Ebenezer and I am blessed by the
strength that God has granted her to return to our services. Keep her and
her family in your prayers that God will continue to give them strength and
comfort.
Congratulations Cheryl, you are our March
2009 Member of the Month!
